  1. So new year means new sketchbook and new scribbles. Here are just a couple of ideas I’ve been working on and off with. You will probably be seeing these guys much more.

The heading comes from this very good book here. However, a really good place to start if you’re just getting into Native American history is Bury My Heart At Wounded Knee. Or better yet, pick up something by N. Scott Momaday and just go wild; he’s got a large body of work to choose from.

  2. Another sketch dump. I love baroque clothing, it’s so fun to do because of all the FRILLS and RIBBONS. The epitome of manliness was to look good in ruffles and tights. Hell yes. Louis XIV was so kooky, too, it’s hard to take him seriously. I think he might show up again later ;]

  3. A few ink profiles of some French Revolution characters from my travel-size sketchbook. Gawd, there was WonderCon, road trip, cousin’s wedding; man, April was busy @.@ But now that I finally have some downtime to myself, I have already started a few more comics! I think I’ll probably try to put one up every week. Or once every two weeks. Actually, don’t take my word for that, my word is pretty shoddy sometimes
